The Taylor Rapp signing is an interesting one schematically for the #Bill

 

He’s at his best when coming downhill & the closer he plays to/around the line of scrimmage, the better he is. He can function in a split field safety role, but is somewhat limited as far as range goes when used as a post safety

 

Do you pair him with a truer/traditional “free” safety type? Do you opt for youth in the draft, or look to solidify the starting spot in free agency given how flush the market is with starting caliber players who can also be affordable?

 

Underlying all of it is that based on who they bring in, it could give us some breadcrumbs in terms of coverage types & usages they’re looking toward in 2024

Sad day to see white, Hyde, poyer made up one of best secondary. Pro bowlers and all pro. Hard to replace. Especially sad to see white go. One of my favorite players. Represented our team and region well. Wishing white and poyer well in their journey. Wish something could have been worked out with white as wished he would have retired a bill

May I simply ask this question if white was not injured and playing pro bowl level and Milano was not injured would you feel this defense might have been better?  Also miller was not up to par. Get a little bit better pass rush from edge imo defense might have faired better. Just my opinion

CB doesn't seem too bad with Douglas, Benford and Johnson.

 

S is looking shaky IMO. Unfortunately not a great S class, but where the Bills draft the top 3 or so should be available.
