Does anyone have a recommendation for a place in Buffalo that does wings AND beef on weck really well?

We have one night; one dinner. Would love to have them both before we leave.

Bar Bill might be your best shot at getting a decent sampling of both.  Or stop at Charlie the Butcher on your way to Bar Bill in Clarence. 🙂

As far as in the city of Buffalo? No idea.

The one BIL has been to the East Aurora location a few times.  The fact he went back after the first time speaks highly for BB.  I will say the last visit was a couple of years ago and most of the restaurant/hospitality industry has been cutting corners to deal with recent inflation but hopefully quality has not been compromised.

There's a whole lot that doesn't make sense in that graphic.   San Diego but no New York?   Yeah, right.

I get deep dish isn't everyone's thing, but not including Chicago is odd.  And Hartford should be New Haven.

Jersey has some pretty good pie. But just like the NFL they probably consider New Jersey is New York
(the joke growing up was that New Jersey was the armpit of New York).

Sign of the time I suspect. NY is heavy of the dough and with high nitrate toppings while Chicago, well, pan pizza says it all. So having San Diego and San Fran on there is probably a nod to the gluten free vegetarian crowd. Anchovies aside, is there any such thing as a cauliflower crust, fish pizza? If so, I'm betting in one or both of those 2

I’m not really a frequent cook, but I used up my Easter ham and made a pretty decent bean soup. 👨🏻‍🍳

My mother made a very good split pea soup with ham and also an excellent ham and bean soup.  I miss her.

@B-Man I like Stouffers mac n cheese. Halfway through the microwave process I stir in some diced ham.

Maybe next time...

That looks like one heck-of-a chessy scalloped potatoes dish.

There is no greater advertisement for a food than the opening scene to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2. Every other suggestion is wrong.
