Thats assuming we are a state in 20 years yes. Also assuming the taxes recouped stay the same over 20 years.

What about inflation and your dollar's valuation eroding over time. Does it then take roughly 40 years for the taxpayer to recoup?

Bigger question could be have we recouped the money this state has spent on their own pet projects for the last 50 years? No, they take from us and take from us yet for that we get nothing.

with inflation and building cots skyrocketing, by the time the stadium is completed in 5 years, it will cost well in excess of $2 billion.

guess who foots that excess

Let us, the fans, pay for things as needed and enjoy a WINNER finally! I'm all for it. But to each their own.

I don't see this happening.  The federal government doesn't have the authority to regulate commerce at the local level within a state.  Now if the NFL can be defined in the context of interstate commerce, that is a different argument.

The NFL clearly engages in interstate commerce. Having nationally televised games, or games televised in multiple states, is interstate commerce. The interstate commerce clause gets used all the time, on much weaker grounds than those.

Great news.

Now I know a dome has been ruled out, but lets get that design with Huge walls. 👍
