Portland family sues Portland Public School district for $9 million after their daughter was allegedly ‘gang r*ped’ in the school bathroom.

 

The girl was allegedly assaulted by two male students in the Schools Uniting Neighborhoods program.

 

It gets worse.

But there's got to be some connection between what happened and how it came to be.  The slaughter of millions didn't happen in a vacuum.  The Holocaust Memorial in DC spends two entire floors (out of perhaps 4 floors) on the buildup.  And rightly so, IMO.

  Don't misunderstand me.  It's always good to have the Holocaust out in the open to remind people about the misdeeds of the past.  The trouble is people do not want to hear the message that such an environment can exist at anytime and anyplace.  And it would help if other examples of genocide were made at the same time to reinforce it.  What most people seem to take away from the Holocaust is Germans are uniquely evil people.  It does not help if there is a local bias as well.  Those Germans!!!  They buy houses and businesses in our community!!!  Gah!!!  Personally, if the schools have time to have courses to show how to put a condom on a cucumber then they can have a course about genocide  which would be far expanded beyond Nazi Germany.

Student suspended for using term ‘illegal alien’ in English class

A16-year-old student at Central Davidson High School in Lexington, North Carolina was suspended for three days last week after using the term ‘illegal alien’ during a vocabulary assignment in his English class. 

 

Christian McGhee’s teacher assigned vocabulary words during class last Tuesday, including the word ‘alien.’ According to his mother, Leah McGhee, Christian responded to his teacher, asking, “Like space aliens or illegal aliens without green cards?” 

 

According to an email describing the incident, sent to local officials and shared with Carolina Journal, a young man in class took offense to Christian’s question and reportedly threatened to fight him, prompting the teacher to call in the assistant principal. Ultimately, Christian’s words were deemed by administrative staff to be offensive and disrespectful to classmates who are Hispanic.

 

“I didn’t make a statement directed towards anyone; I asked a question,” says Christian in response to his suspension. “I wasn’t speaking of Hispanics because everyone from other countries needs green cards, and the term “illegal alien” is an actual term that I hear on the news and can find in the dictionary.”

 

In addition to the three-day suspension, his record could be damaged as he aims to secure an athletic scholarship for college. He is actively involved in school clubs, track, and cross country.

 

“Because of his question, our son was disciplined and given THREE days OUT of school suspension for ‘racism,’” wrote Christian’s mother in the email. “Christian is devastated and concerned that the racism label on his school record will harm his future goal of receiving a track scholarship. We are concerned that he will fall behind in his classes due to being absent for three consecutive days.”

In the video, a student can be seen beating up another student with special needs.

 

The "fight club" reportedly went on for months in the 2nd grade classroom.

 

The student in the lawsuit, identified as O.D., was "physically assaulted" and was held down by Johnican as he was beaten. Johnican made "continuous threats" to the boy.

 

A teacher working with Mr. Johnican reportedly told the special needs student he was "demon possessed."

 

After getting gaslit by the teacher while confronting them on the alleged abuse, Johnican accidentally showed her video of the fight on his phone.
