What is hacking the White House and obtaining top secret information called?

It's not giving aid and comfort to the enemy, so it's not treason.

How do you know it wasn't given to the enemy?

It's not treason until you know it was.  Not: it's treason until you know it wasn't.

BTW, this was an insurrection. The left is always accusing the right of doing what they did/do. J6 was not an insurrection. Spying on a sitting President to undermine/overthrow the administration, and the United States government? Insurrection (not treason unless they can prove secrets were sold).

And, how do you know they were not sold? With Russia! Russia! Russia! and the left always accusing the right of doing what the left is actually doing? I would not be shocked if evidence comes out that secrets were sold to Russia.

At which point...it still wouldn't be treason, since Russia's not an enemy.

Well then, why did anyone care if Trump was in bed with the Russians?

(You mean to tell me selling top secrets to a foreign power is not treason, regardless of the country?)

Because they were told - lied to - that it was 1) true, and 2) important.  They cared because they were told to care.

Remember four years earlier when Romney called Russia our greatest international opponent, and was pilloried for his Cold War mindset, because Russia wasn't our enemy?  Progressives believe what they're told, regardless of the veracity of it.

No, it's not treason.  It's espionage, at worst.  Two examples: Aldrich Ames, John Anthony Walker.  Both sold classified info to the Russians, during the Cold War (Walker's spying, in particular, resulted in an unknown number of deaths).  Neither charged with treason.

Eyes turn to Hillary Clinton, not Trump in the Russiagate scandal

New York Post, by Editorial

So there you have it. Russiagate, the collective delusion that Donald Trump was secretly a Russian agent aided and abetted by the Kremlin, the topic of uncountable inches of Washington Post and New York Times copy and the entire prime-time lineup of MSNBC, was a dirty trick by the Hillary Clinton campaign.

Not just part of it. All of it.

One of the most diabolical, successful misinformation campaigns ever concocted. We already knew that the Steele dossier was garbage. Christopher Steele was paid indirectly by the Clinton campaign to dig up dirt, which he did by turning to other Clinton operatives, laundering every outlandish rumor

the only way to drain the swamp is to decentralize the power and money and reconstitute our republic the way it is laid out in the constitution.

that would take a tremendous, overwhelming amount of grass roots support - which seems totally unlikely given most people are in tiktok trances.

With everything that is upon the world stage right now... there is an old saying that might fit best here... 'never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.'

A good read.

She allows her work to be reprinted in full. However I will not do that, please after reading the excerpt, if it interests you, give the link a click and go to her page and read the entire article. As I said, it is a pretty good read, 5 minutes worth.

The Official Story

Quote

The official story is that we live in a free democracy where our teachers tell us the truth about our nation, our government and our world when we are children, and then the free press continue telling us the truth about our nation, government and world when we are grown, and then every few years we have free and fair elections in which we use this truthful information to make decisions about which politicians and policies to vote for, and it is only by pure coincidence that what we vote for just so happens to benefit the most wealthy and powerful people on the planet.

In the official story, the democratic process consistently fails to let us progress beyond a status quo of profound inequality, injustice, oppression, exploitation, war and ecocide because that’s simply how people are voting in their free and fair elections. The official story maintains that this occurs because the populations of all free democracies coincidentally happen to be organically divided into two ideologically opposed camps of equal size, creating a political deadlock which just so happens to benefit the people who profit from profound inequality, injustice, oppression, exploitation, war and ecocide.

Per the official story, society is driven by the majority, and it is only by an immensely widespread and startlingly consistent series of coincidences that society remains perpetually shaped in a way that benefits a small minority of rich and powerful individuals.

“These are some pretty strange coincidences,” you might find yourself thinking. “What are the odds that a society which is driven by the will of the people would so consistently benefit a small minority of rich and powerful individuals to the disadvantage of the voting majority, across so many separate nations, from generation to generation for many decades, without ever deviating from this pattern? Seems like the rich and powerful must be tipping the scales in their favor somehow.”

The official story holds that you are a crazy conspiracy theorist if you say this, and should be shunned and denied any platform from which to speak to a large number of people. ...
