Was watching highlights of the game, and man, I forget Fitzpatrick was a real enigma as a quarterback. He would throw a dart through the smallest seam to hit a receiver 15 yards downfield, and then throw the kind of pass they use as an example when someone is trying to define the phrase 'head-scratcher.'

His longevity and relative success make him a cult hero to most of us, and I'm good with that because in the end, he's truly bleeds Buffalo, but dude...some of those passes in that game....

Fitz was definitely a limited dude but there were times that it was pretty clear when receivers were zigging when he was expecting them to be zagging.

The year they gave him his big contract extention, he literally got hurt pretty seriously right after it was announced and he played through it.  I will always appreciate what a good soldier he was and how much his teammates liked/respected him.

I only had one interaction with him.  We were in a KC BBQ joint the afternoon before the season opener and he came in with probably 15 other BILLS and sat down at a table that was between us and the exit door.  We finished our meal and on the way out he noticed me and my buddy and gave us the thumbs up. I'm not one to interrupt anyone's meal, so I just said "good luck tomorrow" and he said "we're going to win."  They &#%$ing destroyed the Chiefs and it was awesome.

Not his best hurdle.

Which makes me realize: we're not far off being able to have a "Josh Allen's best hurdles" list.  :classic_laugh:
