A day that will live in infamy.

Well, that event provided the bottoming out needed for us to draft Bruce Smith and Will Wolford plus put a bug up Ralph's butt to offer the big contract that Kelly got in the summer of 1986.  Bad at the time but ..............................

Well and honestly, Kelly's USFL time probably made him the QB he was more than anything the BILLS did.

By Kelly's own admission his time in the USFL paid dividends when he finally joined up with the Bills.  As far as singularly bad decisions Ralph dumping John Rauch for Harvey Johnson (Harvey did not even want the job but did it as a favor to Ralph) was BAD.  Not paying Chuck Knox in 1982 but then again I don't know if Chuck would have been SB good.  Not giving Lou Saban the tools needed to win in his second tour of duty in Buffalo.  On the surface drafting AC Cowling was pretty bad but as time went on it was revealed that Cowling would be a stabilizing influence on OJ Simpson.

So much better than Carrie Underwood.

Yeah, I said it...I prefer Hank Williams Jr. to a long-legged blonde.

Weekend before Christmas 1999. Went to that game in Arizona and then flew to Buffalo for Christmas the next day.
