This is an interesting idea.  The PGA now has a $50MM bonus pool for the most 'impactful' players, measured by a variety of metrics including media mention and social media presence.  Essentially incenting guys to keep the sport popular and bringing in the fans' money.  No surprise that Woods is #1 despite not hitting a shot last year.  Kinda funny that Lefty is #2 despite being persona non grata these days.

isnt that the whole purpose of all the endorsement deals that are separate from the tour?
