Me: "This guy's intolerable.  Either he goes or I go."

 

FEMA: "Okay..."  And like that, he is let go.  His last day's today.  

 

I'm very pleased, but genuinely surprised they fired a GS-14 over a contractor.

Sometimes they are just looking for a viable reason.
