What do you think of the officiating in the NFL?

The owners collectively could cause something to happen in terms of improved officiating, but every year half the teams are beneficiaries of bad calls.  Hard to get a majority from that.

Yeah but, at some point, all have been on the wrong end of blatant, bad officiating.

New England and KC say hi.

Pittsburgh and Philly don’t say anything, they’re just happy no one notices.

Some of these are "stop jumping offsides, illegal motion, delay of game." And some are :classic_blink:

Some are phantom calls

Adding missed or wrong penalty calls to the red flag challenge is an easy fix IMO. It would force the league to become more uniform in its overall officiating IMO.

refs impacting game outcomes:

John Hussey is the ref for the Eagles/Cowboys game

Philly is an undefeated 7-0 with Hussey

the last 2 games with Hussey:

6 penalties on Philly

21 penalties on opponents

Have you seen the missed and wrong calls as of late?

Are you trying to say none of them would be reversed?

I have and that's exactly what I am saying. During the test of the PI challenge there were a few that could/should have been turned over and they were not

Difference between a test and showing the whole football world how blind and stupid the officiating looks my friend. You would hope by reviewing and making the correct determination some uniformity is established throughout the league.

Ask yourself, who came to this conclusion. A league and officiating system that wants complete control and doesn't want to be 2nd guessed,  thats who...

Having just read the PI rules, I think that's a bigger indictment of the NFL's officiating than support for it.

I'm surprisingly okay with the Cowboys getting &#%$ed up the ass by the refs.
