some will say he is exactly what we need! Others, like me, will say...man we getting long in the tooth already on the DL...

1 year Patriot like deal...Bills have best culture, rising QB, best chance to dethrone KC and win next year...you want to chase rings, come do it with the Bills on a a 1 year, $9M deal.

Interesting.  I wonder if they tried to trade him and found no takers at his contract?

I have mixed feelings about the Bills signing (ignoring cap issues).  Seems like a part time player at this point in his career.

Absolutely, been wanting to trade for him since we messed up not drafting him. Now is the time to right that wrong

I would love to have him at the right price...and that's nowhere near the $17M he was going to get.  He really can't be an every down player anymore but as a strategic pass rusher/3rd down specialist he'd be really productive.

I think he'd take a cheaper deal to win. And an even cheaper deal to win with his brother.

I think he gets around 13M annual salary on a 2 year deal.  I don't think that the Bills are buyers at this point with the previously mentioned possible salary.  I'm skeptical that he would come here for much less even if to win a ring.  There are plenty of rising teams especially in the AFC that have much better cap situations than Buffalo.

The Steelers ain't winning anything with that roster but I'm not sure how much that actually matters.

I'm not convinced the Steelers aren't in for a real struggle with Ben under center moving forward.

No question he would probably loved to play with his brother, but I think this is his brother's time to shine and going there will not only remove some of the luster of his brother, but put him on a team that is likely going to take some steps backwards over the next couple of years.

And right now they don't even HAVE a center!
