I want him to play, but man he looks months away from the clips I've seen.  It shows you the organizational desperation/injury situation they're in - they are razor thin in the secondary, and even a 75% Tre is better than the alternative.

Not an easy injury to come back from.

Coming up on one full year since his injury. 
 

I wonder how much of it is just waiting to see him playing at his old self. Maybe he’s healthy but needs time to get back in shape/regain some of the old Tre. CB is such a confidence position that putting him out there when he’s compromised could be a problem.

It wouldn’t be a surprise.  It’s wishful thinking to believe he’ll get back to top form any sooner than the start of next season.

I think he’ll play eventually this year, I’m just not optimistic he’s going to be his old shut-down self even after a few games.
