It was an idea, though a bad one.  At least there is pretty much no chance that gets implemented.  Someone could have suggested Edmunds be a nickel DB.  Would it be that much worse than Taron Johnson this year?

While I have no problem with having a crafty vet like Sanders on the roster...I never imagined him to contribute very much on the field.  He's the sort of signing I like for mentoring the young guys (not that I don't trust Diggs in that role, however.)

p.s.  and the play calling in OT was terrible.  Run to Singletary, then Beasley in a two yard pattern, then incomplete to Diggs.  Why not push the issue against a defense that was clearly back on its heels??
