I have a feeling the Patriot's players are on double secret quarantine. There is a little-known codicil in the NFL constitution that gives the Hoody unlimited power to preserve order in these troubling times of Covid protocol.

It appears that the "family" concept has been fractured by players' decisions not to be vaccinated to the point of a team shattering event.

Bill Belichick and Sean McDermott’s adjustments will be key in Patriots-Bills rematch

FOXBORO, Mass. — When the Bills visit the Patriots at Gillette Stadium the day after Christmas, only 20 days will have passed since the first heated exchange in the most contentious season series between these two teams in recent memory.

Twenty days since Bill Belichick’s team ran the ball 46 times and threw it only three times against Sean McDermott’s defense and managed a 14-10 win. Twenty days since McDermott lost his cool on national television, screaming at officials, making iffy in-game decisions and saying, “Let’s not give more credit than we need to give Bill Belichick in this one,” as he struggled to digest the loss afterward. Twenty days since gale-force wind gusts whipped through Orchard Park and forced the two sides to play a slugfest that ended with Patriots players running off the field in celebration while Bills fans quietly filed out of the stadium.

Now these teams meet in what is essentially a division championship game. If the Patriots win, the Bills will be mathematically eliminated from winning the division. If the Bills win, the Patriots’ odds of climbing back to the top spot in the division would hinge on the Bills losing to the Jets. So this is it. ...
