Of the fossil Fuel variety. Natural gas is the cleanest, most abundant in the US for power generation. Nuclear technology has come a long way.

Nuclear technology's pretty much what it's always been.

 

We're just a generation removed from Rickover's iron-fisted control over the nuclear navy (and indirect control over civilian nuclear power as a result), so industry and regulatory bodies are finally willing to consider alternatives to pressurized water reactors.
