I do not understand the OL management on this team. Bates is  better LG. Pretty obvious for everyone that focuses on OL play... And I like the McGovern signing. Gives IOL flexibility, and should be an improvement inside for the Bills, but I just don't understand constantly trying to make Bates what he is not....

Most Bills fans have Bills-related PTSD.  Apparently, I have very specific McKenzie-related PTSD. 

I understand it. He was not the answer at slot last year.

 

But he did generate 27 first downs on 42 receptions (65 targets), and chipped in 3 more on the ground.

 

Diggs created 74 on 108 REC (154 targets)

Davis had 35 on 48 REC (93 targets)

 

In his best season WR Harty generated 23 FD on 36 REC (59 targets).

 

Not sure this was an improvement in FA.

Curious about Shakir next year, and the best WR in this draft tend to be typical slot sized guys (A lot of sub 6' 200 lb guys)

Yeah, I thought he too was a free agent but he has a year to go. Still DT a thin position at the moment.

He probably was but his age/injury-plagued season last year really hurt him on the open market.  It was a long shot anyway, which is why GMBB let it play out.

My wife goes straight to Watson's in Clarence EVERY trip back to Buffalo to get their sponge candy.  A box usually shows up here during the holidays every year too.
