I’ve given up the rational debate. He’s either an 8 year old or a troll. Either way, it’s pointless.

I'm there as well. Tibs treatment time.

Tell us again how you didn't say Worthy was a sure thing.

Because Andy Reid and I think Worthy will pan out in an explosive offense led by an all world talented quarterback doesn't mean he IS a sure thing.

"Worthy is no sure thing. While he leaves scorch marks on the field, he’s only 5-foot-11 and 165 pounds.

He was the fifth receiver taken off the draft board, but The Athletic draft analyst Dane Brugler ranked him 11th in the entire draft class. Brugler noted Worthy last year caught only five of his 21 contested targets and takes his eyes off the ball too early, leading to drops.

“Overall, Worthy doesn’t have ideal size, toughness or play strength, but his dynamic speed and playmaking instincts make him a threat as both a wide receiver and return man,” Brugler wrote. “He doesn’t have the body of work of DeSean Jackson, but he teases similar flashes.”

NFL Network analyst Lance Zierlein called Worthy a “niche prospect” with a high ceiling but a lot of concerns. Zierlein noted Worthy gets “bullied on contested catches” and “takes reps off” when not involved in the play.

Mr. Cowherd, a Mr. crawhammer is on line two to explain how there is no guarantee that Worthy will be a successful receiver because he already knows he's going to be a successful receiver that may or may not pan out, but absolutely will pan out because the Chiefs win SB and the Bills' GM only has a 90% draft success rate.

This is fair from NFL Writer Frank Schwab...

Buffalo Bills: It's hard to figure out what the Bills are doing.

They badly need a receiver after trading Stefon Diggs this offseason. And while there are plenty of good receivers still available for the second day of the draft, they kept moving back while other teams grabbed wideouts.

The Bills had the 28th pick and traded it to the Kansas City Chiefs, the team they're chasing in the AFC, and the Chiefs took receiver Xavier Worthy.

Worthy set a record for the fastest recorded 40-yard dash time in NFL scouting combine history and might be a great fit for the Chiefs. The Bills then traded the 32nd pick to the Carolina Panthers for the 33rd pick, and got just a late-round pick swap back in return. That seems like very little reward to give up the valuable fifth-year option attached to rookie contracts in the first round. The Panthers took receiver Xavier Legette. And while the Bills were moving down, the San Francisco 49ers took receiver Ricky Pearsall 31st overall.

The Bills will presumably take a receiver, perhaps with the first pick of the second round (Ladd McConkey anyone?). But their approach Thursday night was confusing.

Remember the last small, slightly built WR who had that amazing career?  Yeah, neither does anyone else.

Hell, even the burners I can think of who were successful - Darryl Green, for example - had about 20 lbs on Worthy, in an era where everyone was 20-40 lbs lighter than they are now.

It gets worse. When asked by the press if he met Daniel Jones, he said, “Yeah I met with Janiel Dones.”

Considering that there really wasn't much of a chance of somebody else getting that guy even if the Chefs stayed at 32, really don't see the issue with trading with them.

And it sure seems the Bills still got the guy they wanted at 33.  Would they've been able to do that at the Cheats' slot; especially if the Cheats grabbed the guy the Panthers wanted?
