I remember Pee Wee getting busted whacking off in a movie theater, and you thought, "Man, how the hell do you recover from that?"

 

He vanished from the public, then is suddenly introduced at an award show, or something like that. He comes out in his Pee Wee outfit, walks up the mic and says "So...hear any good jokes lately?"

 

And that was that. Dead career revived.
