My neighbor played with Pele on the Cosmos.  They were still in touch with each other on a regular basis until Pele got sick this most recent time.

 

I drafted a text to my neighbor about an hour ago giving him my condolences, but then deleted it because I’m not sure he knows yet and I don’t want him to find out by getting my text. I think I’ll wait a day.

Sadly, the cause was almost certainly that he was made famous when he was ten years old.
