I was gonna go with something along the lines of letting "Jesus Take the Wheel" but I got lazy.

I liked the literal/metaphorical duality of "let's crash."

Highway robbery by the Steelers

I can only imagine the Rams are in a bad place with the cap and this somehow helps.

But I'm also probably full of shit about this.

If Robinson can actually still play.  There wasn't much evidence of that last season.

The Bills added 2 better parts than Robinson.

Surprised the Steelers are not relying on their WR draft gurus to fill the pipeline.

I think it's (another) sign that this years WR class is pretty unspectacular.

agreed

not likely any of this class will be better than what we have right now, or will be good enough to replace Davis next year.

better plan is to change the play calls to make Knox the primary option way more often.

Draft Washington and run 2 TE sets to make it happen, and improve the red zone efficiency

some dude's (not THAT dude) thoughts on Robinson

As for why the Steelers want him a little backstory. Last year in FA, the Eagles thought they had agreed to a deal with him. Then the Bills snagged Von Miller which caught the Rams off guard and they immediately shifted to an aggressive move for Robinson. The VP for player personnel at the time for the Eagles, Andy Weidl, has since been hired by the Steelers in a similar role, just titled as Assistant GM. I think it's a pretty educated guess he's got a thing for Robinson.

Also I love "what if" stories. Safe to assume if Von Miller remained in LA, Robinson would have been an Eagle and they would not have traded for AJ Brown. Makes me wonder if Hurts would have got that extension if it went down like that?

Dalton Kincaid would also be a very good get. He’s every bit of what we all hope Knox would be.

That said, Washington is otherworldly at times.

Knox is already a top flight option.

just throw him the damn ball more than just an after thought

Washington would ramp up the red zone and both run and pass blocking

And Knox.

He's a shill for Big Tight End.  Which is surprising, you'd have thought that would have been @Jabba The Hutt
