Remember that the ST base is waaay down this year.  Because of questions about crossing the border, Canadian fans were allowed to defer their seats to next season.  And all STHers were allowed to drop to 1/2 or 1/4 seasons this year w/ out losing their seniority.

 

Wouldn't surprise me if they're well below 8,000 STs.

He's barely AHL ready.

 

Unfortunately, the same can be said of Dell.

 

If they try to get more than about 25 games out of Anderson, he'll burn out quick.

 

Their leading goalie by # of games either isn't in the system at present or is named Tokarski.

 

How Adams can be THIS bad at identifying & actually acquiring NHL capable goaltenders is unfathomable.

Barring Dell going completely off the board & playing like an NHLer tonight & against Detroit, they're going to have to make Tokarski the 2nd goalie.

 

Am expecting tonight to be ugly even though the Pens will be missing at minimum Crosby, Malkin, & Guentzel.

 

The Baby Pens badly outplayed the Sabres mix of NHLers & AHLers & am expecting nothing less tonight.  Dell & Tokarski in net.  No Mittelstadt line (Skinner-Mitts-Hinostra out), & no Girgensons, Okposo, nor Asplund.  The D are Dahlin - Jokiharju, Miller - Butcher, & 2 of Bryson, Fitzgerald, & Pysyk.  Could be very ugly.

This team won't be good, but it will surely be more fun to watch than the daily drek we were subjected to under Ralph.  Those games were unwatchable.

If true, good to see that Granato isn't so foolish as to keep him up over Tokarski and good to see Adams isn't stubborn enough to keep him up over Tokarski.

 

Now, can we please get someone who's younger than Anderson & better than Dustin to start ahead of both?
