Report: The #Cardinals would owe QB Kyler Murray $37 million in 2024, $29M in 2025 and $26M in 2026 in injury guarantees if he can’t pass a physical before March, per Mike Florio.
 

Florio suggests the Cardinals might keep Murray on the PUP list throughout the 2023 season to avoid him getting hurt again, which could prevent him from passing that physical.
 

The #Raiders did something similar late last year with Derek Carr and the #Colts did the same with Matt Ryan on his initial benching.

 

If the team thinks they'll pick high in the 2024 Draft, and might take a QB, this could be a move they'll make in order to move on from Murray.
