My husband is the person on the right. I tell a dandy story about his not wanting to pull over for gas when the gas gage was showing almost E because he wanted a “cheaper station“ while we were on a drive from Salt Lake City to Boise. A million degrees, we have no air on, going well under the speed limit with flashers on, darkness quickly descending…

 

We made it to the next station, but an 18 wheeler followed us for miles with his flashers on to make sure we didn’t break down (so kind of him!), and let me tell you my husband NEVER took it that far again.  And, I now always check that the tank is full before we start a drive (it was early in our marriage, lesson learned).

Next step is for the IRS to develop AI to help you calculate your liability or refund

 

Followed by AI precalculated withholding and/or prepay

 

Which will be touted s a convenience at first.   Then the IRS preferred method.
