There is a delicious symmetry in that Edmunds is in Chicago playing in Urlacher’s old spot while Te Be is playing like Urlacher in Onalim’s old spot.

There was a similar situation in the 3rd Q IIRC where Bernard read that the D was in the wrong call, directed about 3 guys into different spots and ended up stuffing a run for a 2 yard loss.

Being perfectly honest here...Williams still looks like the future at MLBer but what we're seeing from Bernard through 3 games is exactly what the BILLS were expecting from Onalim when they moved up to get him.

Makes me question how much the head shots added up for Jerry O.  I understand the numbers but when I think "tackling machine", the roll call would go a long time before I got to Onalim.  If there's a system that he fits at MLB, I've never seen it and I've been watching this game since the early '70s.

The Bills have a 'Type' that works well for them. 6'0 to 6'1 and @240 lbs. Milano, Bernard and they drafted another in Dorian Williams. Very fast processors and willing to commit. I love it.

It's the direction the game has been going.  We're a little late to the party but it looks like we're finally there and dressed to the nines.
