Another reason is Barkley is playing lights out under Daboll, so those early season (faint) rumors have evaporated.

Since 2017, they've forced 140 takeaways (1st in the NFL), allowed just 89 passing touchdowns (1st, next best 113 – Vikings), allowed an average of a 78.0 passer rating to opposing quarterbacks (1st) and have given up an average of 20.16 points per game (3rd) and 310.2 total yards per game (1st).

I got to thinking about the recent, "Leslie Frazier may leave us to become a head coach" talk.

 

And in my opinion, it is not likely. Not because of racism, but agism.

 

At present there are only four NFL coaches over 60 and as you may have suspected they have all been around for a while,

 

 

Lovie Smith - 63

 

Andy Reid  -  64

 

Bellicheat  -  69

 

Pete Carroll   70

 

All of the recent hires have been up and coming 30 - 40 year old stars ; Cincy, Jets, Vikes, Rams, etc.

 

 

Frazier is 63, will be 64 in the spring.

 

I just don't see another team grabbing him, no matter how well our Defense does.
