This is a very interesting discussion Dorsey OC vs Daboll OC.  Dorsey definitely did more good than harm.

Daboll vs Dorsey Analysis:

Heading into the regular season, a prominent topic of discussion for the Buffalo Bills regarded their switch at offensive coordinator from Brian Daboll to Ken Dorsey. Daboll faced his fair share of criticism while in Buffalo, but appeared to be instrumental in the development of Josh Allen into an elite QB.

Now, after a full NFL season, Daboll is the favorite to win Coach of the Year for his work with the New York Giants, while the Bills were eliminated in embarrassing fashion against the Bengals, where Dorsey’s offense scored just 10 points. Before jumping to any conclusions about the state of the offense under their new play caller, let’s take a look at a side-by-side comparison of Daboll’s offense in 2021 vs Dorsey’s offense in 2022.

Also, before you can compare the offensive stats for 2021 vs 2022, it needs to be taken into consideration that there was a discrepancy in the number of games for each team. Because of the events in Cincinnati regarding Damar Hamlin leading to a no contest, 2022 has a 16 game sample size, while 2021 has a 17 game sample size. To resolve this, I’ve adjusted all stats to a per-game rate, to lead to a more even comparison.

When a QB throws the ball 60 yards downfield and the receiver catches it at the five yard line or in the end zone, the fricking “Yards After the Catch” are a meaningless, insignificant, essentially idiotic statistic to rank a QB.

Turndaballova and Kermit throw shorter passes and have speed demons get their “Passing Yards.”

Why don’t these pundits look at YITA stats for catches?
How many yards in the air the ball goes BEFORE the catch is pretty fricking important too. To me focusing on YAC is a phony stat that statheads like to focus on but isn’t a key to winning football.

“Touchdown first Coach.”

Gotta think the FO wasn’t pleased with his handling of the Wideouts this year. His squad underachieved bigly.

This guy got an offer. Frazier… not so much. :guillotine:

Yeah, this one sucks. The WRs loved him. So how soon until the Bills announce the hiring of the Panthers WR coach?

maybe the WRs need more coaching and less buddy-buddy from their position coach

Maybe the Bills need better receivers, lol. Chad Hall is a well respected coach around the league.

So I've only loosely been keeping up with Bills news so far since they were eliminated.

But since nothing has happened yet are we expecting to retain Frazier or is it more likely he's replaced later?

He's not going anywhere.

Yep.  Though as we saw yesterday, certain offensive powerhouses are impossible to stop.  KC can move the ball when they need to.

The problem is teams like the Jets can also move the ball on our D.

They've hired four assistant/quality control coaches to support him.  Why would they get rid of him now?
