more likely they told him he would have to change the defense, because they weren't keeping Edmunds

Yeah, I'm sure whatever guess you pull out of your ass is far more likely than the objective facts.

Make McD the DC and hire a new HC.  I'd be on board with that.

We should make Josh Allen the #1 RB and draft a new QB, too.

Are you ready for some aggressive defensive play calling?

so why has he lived with sitting on his hands for 5 years, allowing Leslie to play super soft most of the time ?

when it has proven to not make in the playoffs

Because he delegated the responsibilities of defensive play calling to his defensive coordinator

he delegated to the OC as well

hasn't stopped him from whining for the last 3 years for Josh to stop running, but to run the ball more

however, crickets about being more aggressive on the D

These two things are so different that it’s not even apples to oranges. It’s more like apples to George Washington’s wooden upper left canine.

Sean McDermott was heavily involved with the defensive game plan each week. That’s part of a heavily *planned out* strategy put out in advance with tons of situational controls.

Sean McDermott has almost zero control over what Josh Allen is going to do post snap when a play breaks down and he starts to improvise. He can ask Josh to get down more frequently, but it’s not like he can bench him if he doesn’t.

Actually George Washington loved apples... as did Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln

I think you have him confused with the guy in the bar that Matt Damon confronts in Good Will Hunting.

Common mistake.

You know that myth about him chopping a Cherry tree? He was just trying to graft that shit probably, he loved Fruit trees and had an extensive orchard in which he popularized certain Apple varieties.
