Hey @Alaska Darin, this came up in my feed today and thought it was funny after your comment in the gameday thread about people watching tornados on their porch.

I guarantee you that he was like "we're not playing because of a little rain?"

Midwestern people are just wired different.

I "leaped" 3 feet in the air (measurement made in the moment by my wife) and screamed "take that you cheating mother &#%$ers!"

Woke up the puppy.  lol

They deserved every bad thing that happened to them last night.  The football Gods were angry...

Down 18 points with under 3 minutes to go and you're calling time outs?  Do you care about your players?

I thought that was kinda crazy. They had enough injuries that game, why look for more?

I want that glass. :wine:

I suspect you may have been a fan of Cougar Town when it was on the air. She used to have a giant wine glass called something like Big Lou or Big Joe.

Yup, I remarked in GDT, Eddie's tackle clearly started well above the knee.

He was also clearly falling after being pushed by the defender.

It's like Buffalonians driving in snow in DC.

"What?  You're shutting down for this?  It's only 12 inches."

Guilty.  I regularly drive in snow like it doesn't exist...because I know how to.

Allen couldn't really step into the throw with the opposition in his face IMO.  The result was an elite WR seeing the play unfolding and trajectory. Adjusting to the slight under throw. Elite play on both ends IMO.

I really liked the way Diggs clutched the ball with 2 hands knowing the defender was coming.

Quick strike capabilities. I realize the odds of getting 2 on side kicks is slim to none. Wet footballs, slippery. I don't know, I think Buffalo may have done the same thing If the shoe was on the other foot. These guys may see each other again. Learn what you can about your opponent.

I get where your coming from though...

He always does that.  He's a smart player in general (losing the DB last night on that pass was the first even remotely stupid thing I remember him doing in a long while), but he's extremely smart protecting the ball.

Such a smart player, it's actually fun watching all the little details he pays attention to.

So . . . does this game mean we’re no longer mad at McDermott for choosing Allen instead of Mahomes?

I'm sure @Joe still is.

I've never had beef with McDermott or Allen, so what's this nonsense about?

I wasn't big on Mahomes.
