I love Tremors.  It's nothing more than a tribute to '50s Creature Features.  As that, it's genius.

I was critical of the 1st one as well. Being a Herbert fan, and having watched the David Lynch Dune epic, I was somewhat unsure about the Denis Villeneuve version. I have watched Villeneuve's version a good number of times and have come to appreciate it more. Lynch spun his vision and, if you're a fan of Lynch's overall work, his version of Dune is a masterpiece in its own right. I think that because of that work, it possibly tainted my visualization of Villeneuve's version.

 

I agree with @Crap Throwing Clavin, read the book.
