Christmas is over and so is the NFL covid outbreak

what a surprise

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic continues to interrupt the NFL season. There were 521 players placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list from Dec. 1-27, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, and 476 of those came on or after Dec. 13. (For context, 428 players went on COVID reserve all of last season, Sept. 1 to Super Bowl LV).

good plan

to use the unreliability of the PCR test to your advantage

seeing the jabs are pretty worthless at stopping positive tests or anything else covid related

https://www.outkick.com/profootballdoc-eagles-covid-gamesmanship-and-saturday-nfl-health-analysis/

Early in the week we indicated the Eagles figured out a way to take advantage of the NFL rules ahead of today’s Saturday regular season finale. By having players volunteer to test for COVID-19, 12 players from different position groups tested positive. These players will not be subject to any COVID testing throughout the playoffs and are no longer in danger of missing games or practice time going forward.

Given that today’s Philadelphia game is meaningless (locked into a Wild Card spot for a road game either way), this allows more roster flexibility to rest players. Our theory was confirmed on Friday when only center Jason Kelce was activated off the COVID-19 reserve list to play when the other 11 also qualified under the NFL’s five-day protocols.

Anyone left to play in the Cleveland / Cincinnati game ?

Denzel Ward placed on COVID list; D’Ernest Johnson activated

by: Scott Petrak - The Chronicle-Telegram Browns Zone4m

Pro Bowl cornerback Denzel Ward won’t play Sunday in the finale vs. the Bengals after being placed on the COVID-19 reserve list Saturday. Ward had already been unlikely to play after sustaining a groin injury Monday night in the 26-14 loss to the Steelers. He didn’t practice Thursday, was limited...

Superbowl, left/progressive protests, federal elections, illegal immigrants.

Hell, it even knows enough to spread when you're walking through a restaurant, but not when you're sitting down to eat at a restaurant.  It's a very intelligent virus.

hard to have positive tests when no testing is being done

the rest of America should take notice

get rid of the testing and the plague goes away.

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/01/14/nfls-chief-medical-officer-guardedly-optimistic-about-finishing-postseason-without-major-problems/

This week only nine NFL players tested positive for COVID-19, after more than 100 tested positive each of the three previous weeks. Sills noted that there’s now likely enhanced immunity around the NFL because so many players have recent infections, and that 94 percent of NFL players are vaccinated. Sills said the data in the NFL is consistent with other places where the Omicron variant has spread: The variant hits like a tidal wave but then quickly recedes.

Another important aspect of all this is that in the NFL, fully vaccinated players are not tested regularly, and neither are players who have tested positive in the last 90 days. Virtually every NFL player is either fully vaccinated or has tested positive within the last 90 days, so few NFL players will be tested unless they come forward and say they’re feeling symptoms. And realistically, how many players are going to do that in the playoffs?

The rapid spread has gotta be freaking out the covid crowd. Not because they're worried about public health, but because it's exposing their beloved "pandemic" for the glorified cold it really is.

you don't get positive tests when you don't test.

it's only the common cold

deal with it

https://www.outkick.com/clay-travis-vax-clearly-offered-nhl-no-benefit-but-mysteriously-nfl-suddenly-covid-free/

“So despite having 100% of NHL players covid vaccinated nearly 75% of all players tested positive this year already,” Clay tweeted. “This means mandatory vaccinations of players provided no benefit whatsoever since the players weren’t at risk from covid and they still got and spread it to others.”

“We’re completing a full weekend of 12 NFL teams playing six games in a week where covid hit all time highs in the country & suddenly virtually no NFL player tested positive for covid,” Clay tweeted. “Amazing how that worked out, isn’t it? Someone should run the odds on this based on past weeks.”

In other words, as is so often the case with COVID testing, it all comes down to the bottom dollar. When testing impacts that money too much … well, suddenly it’s just a matter of time before the testing ends, or suddenly, no more positives show up.

The NFL is there already. The NHL is likely to get there soon enough as well.

Son tested positive today from a mandatory test Tuesday. Had post nasal drip and woke with crap in his throat since Friday. DOH told his as long as he feels fine he can return to work tonight. So, tests Tuesday, finds out Thursday. Tells them his symptoms started Friday so he is cleared before he was notified. I will tell you first hand Omicrumb aint bad.

I'm just getting over it myself. I will say, it hasn't been a lot of fun, and it's lingered a lot longer than I would have thought, but I've had much worse bouts with the flu.

https://www.outkick.com/aaron-rodgers-crushes-president-biden-for-vaccine-demands/

In a profile by ESPN, Rodgers again criticized the Left’s demands for COVID vaccines for all. Rodgers, particularly, bashed President Biden.

“But when you say stuff like that, and then you have the CDC, which, how do you even trust them, but then they come out and talk about 75% of the COVID deaths have at least four comorbidities,” Rodgers goes on.

“And you still have this fake White House set saying that this is the pandemic of the unvaccinated, that’s not helping the conversation.”

Rodgers is wise.

Beauty is we had the flu and that kicked our butts. As we were all feeling better this little sinus drip started.
