Imagine how different some of the games this weekend would have looked if this policy were in effect a week earlier.

 

Despite "some" thinking that the CDC controls the NFL, this makes it clear that it's the NFL that's driving the CDC's policy, not the other way around.  Which must really piss off Adam Silver, given that it's the NBA that initially set national COVID policy back in March of 2020.
