You and two buddies beat the shit out of a guy in a Vegas hotel elevator, and continue to kick the dude after he is on the ground and apparently unconscious?

Looking forward to the hotel releasing that video. That's no way for a slave to behave.

 Before the story came out I was going to ask in jest if an elevator was involved.

Meanwhile...

Just a story about Kyler that popped into mind when reading this:

Over the holidays I spent time in Texas with the in laws. My father in law does a lot of charity work with Earl Campbell, including a yearly banquette for the best Texas HS sports stars of the year. The year Kyler won it, he apparently showed up to the dinner but never got off his phone the entire time (not talking on it, playing games). Including during dinner where people paid a nice chunk of change to be at his table. Then, when Earl came through, Kyler didn't even look up when he shook his hand and made his introductions.

The feeling after the banquette from some of the pros in attendance was that Kyler wasn't going to last long in the league whenever he got there. Too mercurial -- and not in an endearing sports star kind of way. But in the kind of way that makes you a social outcast in the locker room.

Interesting. I don't know shit from shinola, but I will forever remember watching the Monday Nighter with Cardinals vs. Rams. Murray was getting pummeled, and at one point when they came back from break, Manning starts explaining how this is the moment Murray needs to go to each of his teammates and pump them up and let them know "We got this! We can win this!" and get them jacked up to take the field and turn the game.

The minute Manning stopped talking, the camera showed Murray sitting on the bench by himself sulking.

The video will tell the tale. Maybe not what initiated it, but if that man was down and unconscious...

Still waiting on what happened in court and if the video will be released:

</snip>

Shortly before 6 p.m. on Feb. 5, a Las Vegas Metro detective was dispatched to Sunrise Hospital for an interview with alleged victim Darnell Greene, who had been partying at Drai’s After Hours, a club at the Cromwell Casino along the Strip. At the hospital, Greene was “still shaken up and in pain,” the report says.

Greene said he was leaving the club around 6:30 a.m. Saturday and made his way to the elevators, according to the report.

“There was a group of people waiting as he started a conversation with one of them,” it says. “As soon as the elevator opened, Greene and the large party he was speaking with began walking towards the open elevator doors.”

It was then that a man—who would later be identified as Kamara—”put his hand on Greene’s chest[,] stopping him from walking into the elevator,” the report continues.

Greene pushed Kamara’s hand off his chest, at the same time getting “pushed hard causing himself to stumble back.”

“After Greene was pushed, he states he was being hit and kicked by multiple people and losses [sic] consciousness,” says the report. “The only one that Greene can remember is described as a black male in his 20’s, he was approximately 5’10, muscular and had either dreadlocks or braided hair. The suspect was wearing either a gray shirt or gray sweater.”

Doctors told Greene he had “sustained an orbital fracture” of his right eye, and said he may need surgery, the report states, adding that Greene’s eye was swollen to the point that he could not open it.

</snip>

Kamara was not arrested prior to the Pro Bowl game because of “a delay in reporting due to the victim receiving treatment and that the incident had occurred approximately 10 hours prior,” Las Vegas Metro PD spokesman Officer Larry Hadfield told The Daily Beast. “It was known that he would be participating in the Pro Bowl and was interviewed at Allegiant Stadium after the game. Subsequently he was arrested and transported to the Clark County Detention Center.”

I can't wait until this video is accidentally released.  If what they're alleging is true, I hope he never plays another down.

If it's true, he goes to prison for a little while, gets released, becomes a free agent, and signs an $80M NFL contract.

Because that's the way slavery works in the NFL.

How about a vet minimum 'proven it' deal with the Bills?   Sure would love a pair of hands like that coming out of the backfield.

If you hit women, children or dogs, I don't want you.  But I can live with an elevator brawl among dudes exiting the club at 6am.

Or he doesn't go to prison and never plays again, like Ray Rice.

Because being blackballed from slavery is also how slavery works in the NFL.  :classic_wacko:

I swear, I first read this as "women, chickens, or dogs," and was wondering why you're so protective of poultry.

I'd want nothing to do with this d-bag.  Women, children, unprovoked male...I hope Kamara never plays again.

Not only that, but the unprovoked male was attacked by multiple people. That's not a fair fight, that's a gang beating someone up. With Kamara being the ringleader.

That predatory shit really pisses me off.  I would bet good money that Kamara didn't want the guy on the elevator because he's an entitled @$$h@l& and that's what started the whole thing.

Those other guys were the posse.  A bunch of nobodies who would be no where if they weren't hanging around Kamara.  Not the only time something like this has happened.

Yeah, I agree.  I didn't think Kamara was like that, but you never know until something like this happens.

I concluded that within about five seconds of reading the first article.  I assume that’s a standard entitled douchebag move.
