One more stinking win in the regular season and that could have been us knocking the Bruins out of the playoffs.

Just a quick drive to say I know literally very little about the NHL, and yet I somehow find comfort and a bit of joy knowing a team in Boston had the best regular season record in the history of the game, only to lose in the first round of the playoffs.

 

I didn't even watch the game, yet it feels a little like 16 and D'oh!

I was watching with my BIL (from Boston) last night and remarked to him in the second period how the greatest regular seasons in NFL, MLB and NBA history all failed to produce champs.  Add NHL to the list.
