Yeah I thought I read MU fizzled.  From that chart, it looks like once Delta is done this is over (unless something else pops up)?

sort of like at the beginning of 2021 when Delta was pretty scarce in the US until the jab program ramped up

And let a perfectly good control mechanism go to waste?

https://www.zerohedge.com/covid-19/white-house-plans-buy-another-1-billion-covid-rapid-tests-despite-decline-us-cases

As more rapid at-home COVID tests are approved by American regulators, the Biden Administration is reportedly preparing another "investment" in rapid at-home tests (despite lingering criticisms about the frequency of false positives produced by these tests, helping to contribute to America's COVID "casedemic").

According to Bloomberg, the Biden Administration is preparing to announce a $1 billion purchase of rapid at-home COVID tests with the intention of "expanding the availability of such products in the coming months".

Of course, as we have reported time and time again, the more testing, the more cases. With this latest investment (which has yet to be officially announced) the US will be on track to 4x rapid testing capacity by December. The plan will involve distributing the free tests to an additional 10K US pharmacies, bringing the total number of free testing sites to 30K (including 20K pharmacies).

looks like they banned Ivermectin to give Merck enough time to re-patent Ivermectin in order to clean out Americans' pockets.

https://www.zerohedge.com/covid-19/merck-charging-us-40-times-what-it-costs-make-govt-financed-covid-pill

Merck's new 'not Ivermectin' Covid-19 treatment, molnupiravir, costs $17.74 to produce - yet the company is charging the US government $712 for the treatment - a 40x markup, according to The Intercept, citing a report issued last week by the Harvard School of Public Health and King’s College Hospital in London

The pill, originally developed using US government funds as a possible treatment for Venezuelan equine encephalitis, cut the risk of hospitalization and death in half in a randomized trial of 775 adults with mild/moderate Covid who were considered at high risk for disease due to comorbidities such as obesity, diabetes and heart disease

Yet, as Quartz points out, only Merck and Ridgeback will profit from the new antiviral - which they say "could be one of the most lucrative drugs ever," bringing in as much as $7 billion by the end of this year alone.

We've now reached the part of the program where people will ask for evidence that molnupiravir is an ivermectin derivative, and Spartacus ignores those questions and continues blindly shitposting unsubstantiated zerohedge trash.

From my reading molnupiravir mechanism of action works against the covid viral rna polymerase. Ivermection mechanism of action against covid is unclear. I've seen papers talking about nuclear transport pathway inhibition, acting as an ionophore and a few others. They just don't have a clear answer with Ivermectin yet.

But they're the same thing. :classic_dry:

Never mind that Merck (as big as Big Pharma can get) started work on molnupiravir well before anyone was talking about Ivermectin

And Ivermectin, conversely, has been studied as an anti-viral for more than 10 years, including as a treatment for dengue and yellow fever.  There's papers - in reliable sources, such as from the NCBI - from last summer describing potential therapeutic effect against COVID.  Anything from this year, though, seems to have been pulled from publication.

The amount of absolute horseshit in COVID reporting is stunning.  People on one side claiming a wildly successful treatment for river blindness taken by hundreds of thousands of people every year is "only a veterinary drug," and on the other claiming a cure based on the effects on monkey cells in a petri dish.

It's as if the "msm" doesn't realize there is this little thing called the internet where people can share uploads of these protests. They probably just don't care, but then why wonder why no one is watching or reading?

but hey- let's push for unneeded booster shots

maybe we can coax out a new mutation to spread around to keep the fear porn going full throttle

I thought the mu is coming?

At least try to keep your BS stories straight.

In his conspiracy theory BS rant. I ignore nonsense without evidence.

Coax a mutation? The &#%$ing mutation exists and is documented.

I will say again... If the MSM doesn't cover it, did it even happen?

Reality for the (m)asses is whatever pablum that is fed to them. Anything outside of the official narrative is tantamount to conspiracy theories.

I think that is the common question. How did it skip 2 oceans? That is where the "its the vaccine" thought is based. We were not allowing people to fly in without question.

Two oceans?

It jumped from India to England to the US.  That's not exactly a mystery.
