SF.  Rodgers is originally from NorCal.  49ers want to move on from Jimmy G, I think.  They probably haven't given up on the notion of acquiring Rodgers.

There is talk of extending Garapolo (sp?). I guess he has played very well the last 4 games.

Looking at the replay on that big Tenn run, NE DB played it smart and punched the ball out.

Was tugged on the jersey by another defender before the ball got punched out.
He should have known to cover up the ball.

The offseason will be interesting.  If SF can acquire Rodgers, like I think the want to, Jimmy G will be gone.  As of today, they don't have anything else.

They did draft Lance and expended some draft capital to do so. He might not be ready though.

Do you thank Shanahan thinks he should have drafted Jones instead?

I think Shanahan really wanted Rodgers, but GB wouldn't go along with that.  Hard to say if Shanahan regrets passing on Jones.  Shanny is a good offensive mind so there could be a method to his madness to sitting Trey Lance.

Wel, hey, you can be like me and flip between that trash and NYJ/Houston.

Actually I can't. I live outside Philadelphia.

So I'm stuck with this shit.

Went out to put up lights instead

I hate that the Patriots are this good already.

Just hate it. What have they done to deserve this

They haven't looked that good. Tenn making mistakes to hand them the game.

Typical Belichick team.  They won't beat themselves with mind numbing mistakes.

You don't win as many games as they have on luck.

Not strictly speaking about this week

Belichick does a good job at building a smart, physical team.  They are focused, don't make dumb mistakes, and never seem to be unprepared.  You have to be better than NE to beat NE.  It's not impossible, but you can't play games like the Bills did against Jax and Indy.

Which is why they're pretty much the only consistent team in the league right now, along with the Cardinals.

How does Houston beat the Titans, only to shit the bed against the Jets?

Few things make sense this year. Anyone is truly beating anyone.

Yup.  They are opportunistic on defense (eg., the earlier punch out) and usually outsmart their opponents (they clearly expected what was coming on that last goal line stand).

So you're saying Onalim drops the pick 6 just like Cole did. 😁
