It's always unacceptable when you lose.

Imagine if Andy Reid lost this game, and had to explain to everyone how he was near the goal line after a big kick return, and his BIG plan was to run a wildcat play where you remove all your best players, and then make a backup TE the quarterback, who pitches it to a backup RB.

As Madden always says, winning is a great deodorant.

Of course it’s unacceptable when you lose but it’s easier to swallow a loss when you already have a title in your trophy cabinet.

I peeked in over there for giggles. All i have to say is thank God (and @Foxx) for this place. Chiefs Planet is to ATOP as a maximum security mental institution for the criminally insane is to the local outpatient psych hospital. Good lord. I wouldn’t be surprised if those idiots were playing Pictionary with their feces on the cell walls.

It's funny that they think this place is a safe space for snowflakes, especially considering what the impetus was for this site. 🤣

He may have came up a hair short on Sunday night but @richeisen says fret not #BillsMafia, @JoshAllenQB will have you knocking on Lombardi’s doorstep for years to come:

You know, this season isn't a total loss. It's worth something that we stomped the ever loving dog shit out of the Patriots in the playoffs and asserted dominance over the division.

I know it's hard to feel optimistic when we just had a likely SB title served up on a silver platter only to be yanked away due to inexplicable defensive ineptitude, but just a couple of years ago curb stomping the Hoodie in an elimination game would have felt about as good as a Superbowl.

Journalists get pissy when coaches won't take them down their rabbit hole.

And the coach loses if they indulge them.  McD is right to keep it in house.

Did Wawrow ask if it had anything to do with Cole Beasley’s vax status?

He was probably too busy bickering with other journalists who reported the same news he did, but didn't give JW the acknowledgement entitled dudes like him expect.

He's been on twitter attacking fans who comment that he is a crabby old man.  Apparently, he cannot see the irony in his response.

I would think it is a communication issue.  I highly doubt Bass would kick it in the end zone if he specifically was told to squib kick the ball.

He went after Hannah Buehler at WKBW because she reported a common knowledge story -- not a scoop, mind you, but a common knowledge story -- and JW went after her for not citing him in the story that everyone else was reporting.

We say it ad nauseum, but it will forever be true. If his skin were any thinner he'd need a reservoir tip.

As to Matt Parrino, you can't say McDermott protecting players and staff is respectable and follow it up with a 'but' unless you need people to justify your existence.

The 13 seconds issue is, in fact, an issue. But it doesn't become a true issue unless it becomes a trend.

Like we discussed yesterday, if McDermott was still punting from the KC 45 on a 4th and 2, THAT is a trend. He corrected that habit, so we should expect him to correct what happened with the 13 seconds.

McDermott is doing what a leader does.  He's being the umbrella for the shit being thrown.  He knows what went wrong and he'll do what he has to to correct it.

What he won't do is let the media continue the witchhunt.  That breeds loyalty and makes Buffalo a destination for coaches/players.

Agree with this.  McD is the anti-Wrecks.

However, McD needs to stop shitting the bed in these consequential games; the witch hunts and questioning will go away..  2019 WC vs Texans, 2020 AFCCG, 2021 Divisional round.  All games with extremely poor execution and/or coaching strategy and decisions, three years in a row.  Much of this falls on him.
