Bittersweet moment for me that I will not forget. 5 minutes prior I got notification that I lost a friend that I played baseball with in high school. We had some good baseball memories and hooked up a few times lately to watch Spring Training games in Arizona. Next year will be our 50th high school reunion.
So I was doing my Aaron Judge watch like normal on the couch and thought, ya know, this would be a good time to hit that 61st homer. So in his next at bat he does. Cheers Randy  🍻 👼

I can remember ribbing my friends that are Mariner's fans when they took over the crown.

Seattle Mariners’ 21-year playoff drought ends with Cal Raleigh’s walk-off home run

"Seattle’s berth ended the longest active playoff drought in any of the four major professional sports, a dubious honor that now falls to the Sacramento Kings, who have not made the NBA playoffs since the 2005-06 season."

I'll have to remember this next time I see my friend from Sacramento.

He's writing a hell of a script in his last season.

#62

$ Pay the Judge $

And now the Louisiana Lightning's single season strikeout record has been broken as well

I was pulling for Wheeler last night, but think I should root for the Padres from here out, if for no other reason than Town Gwynn, one of my all time favorite players.

Being an “old school” guy , I was always against suggestions for using mechanical devices for umpires, but watching this clown call balls and strikes is making me change my mind.

It has huge ramifications when they blow ball/strike counts and it happens all the time.  Almost all ref calls require some level of human judgment, but not balls and strikes.  There is no reason not to use the robots.
