Every operator I've ever known has carried baby wipes.  EVERY SINGLE ONE.

Same here.  When the wife had friends in Iraq, baby wipes were a more popular request than porn.  Not the same as good, soaking shower, though.

 

Never heard of it on attack subs, though.  Maybe on ballistic missile subs, with defined patrol lengths.  But attack subs are more volume-constrained and time-uncertain.  Those guys just stink.
