Just watched the first episode... Loved it!

I thought having the alien commit murder did not make him sympathetic. I will give it another few episodes to see how it goes.

Maybe there will be more backstory into the human doctor that makes him seem like a jerk that deserved it.

Just re-watched with the wife who hates sci-fi.  She was giggling and laughing from the beginning to the end.  Seriously.  Great show.

I assume this is the Queen of Gambits, one of the few I’ve watched.  My only problem was there were not enough episodes. Oddly (very!), I had a dream about chess last night which I had forgotten until this moment. Strange, I know, but my board was broken and I couldn’t find my pieces.

 

Another that ended too soon for me was Bosch. I had read many of the Michael Connelly books and it was cool to see it come to life. Well done, IMO. 

 

Looking for the next show we can watch together in the evenings. Something that appeals to both of us.

Started watching Into The Night on Netflix.  Kind of reminds me of The Langoliers by Stephen King, where you have an airplane of people trying to keep ahead of what's coming, in this case, the sun. It's in French but has subtitles.

In another forum site someone recommended Cabin in the Woods (Amazon).  Really good horror story with a very different twist.  Joss Whedon production.

 

Had a good Evil Dead vibe.

Does this include the season or two that were done for Netflix? I never got around to finishing the newer ones. I watched the original run two or three times. At least that much was a great show.

I have not watched the "remake".  I don't like those because they usually suck.
