I only caught it briefly while scanning my phone at the grocery store, but I believe Jones made a comment that implied Bills fans are racist because of their undying love for a quarterback who made an inappropriate tweet a hundred years ago. Or something like that.

Yep, thank you. He is a hot take specialist. Smart as hell, but loves him some click material.

The stupid part here that is lost on the weaker minds is the stupidity of his premise. Your or I could easily go looking at the twitter posts and comments of people who like and follow Bomani Jones and find questionable shit.

But people who think for themselves aren't stupid enough to make the embarrassing leap of faith that if a couple of Jones' followers are like that, then ALL of them must be like that.

That's ATOP troll level stupidity.

His golf analogy is was spot on. I used to play a lot client golf and at one tournament there was a tee box set up to map your swing. At the end of the round they gave us a disk to show how our golf swing compares to what should be done, and the things you can do to correct it.

It's incredibly cool technology, but the reality is showing me what I'm doing wrong and getting me to correct years of established bad form are two different things.

The drive Allen has to constantly improve -- and to really put the work in -- is what impresses me the most about him. To SEE those results so dramatically is just not the norm. He's already looking forward to what he can work on in the next offseason. Impossible to not love this guy.

You're spot on - it's really hard to correct years and years of bad habits regarding ANYTHING.  I distinctly remember Fitz talking about how he'd never really gotten QB coaching in the NFL until he got to Buffalo and he didn't realize how the flaws in his motion contributed to the bad plays/interceptions.  As smart as he was, he never really changed much.

Same can be said about Tebow and EJ (and probably many, many others).  I watched a whole show on how much work Tebow put in to correct his throwing motion and when game conditions were perfect, he implemented them well.  But whenever it got even a bit tenuous, he reverted back to what was "natural" for him and it ended up costing him his career.  EJ never really changed - as nice a guy as he was he just didn't have enough dog in him to drive him to be better.  I think honestly he never had to overcome adversity in his athletic career, so it was just beyond him.

JA is just one of those guys - he &#%$ing wants it and he's going to do what it takes.  I was not at all surprised to hear he grew up in a farm community.  People in those places in America are just wired different.  I'm glad Beane and company had the foresight to see what Josh could be because he's just scratching the surface of his ability.  A bigger, stronger, right-handed version of Steve Young?  Yes please.

For those wondering...

The Bills came out in the 3rd quarter and capitalized on their first drive of the half after Josh Allen found Stefon Diggs for their first offensive touchdown of the game. The touchdown pass was Allen's 34th of the season, which tied him with Jim Kelly for the team's single season record.

But that record was short-lived. Minutes later, the Bills offense capitalized after another solid defensive stand. Allen, this time, found rookie Gabriel Davis for the 13-yard score to take a 23-7 lead, giving Allen the new franchise record for total touchdowns in a season [35].

Watching the MNF pregame.  The topic that is that the Browns coaches have stopped calling plays he can not execute.  Whole this sound good, having a limited playbook will catchup with you at some point.

It does not feel like Allen has any such limitations.   Daboll can call any play and Allen can make any throw.  He is not a short, average arm QB like Mayfield.

He sucks.  Cut him, or trade him to the Jets for multiple high draft picks.

I was reading a Denver fan forum where they were discussing the hypothetical - would you trade Drew Lock + a 1st for Josh Allen? After I got through laughing, it made me happy that the real answer for the Bills is NFW, regardless of how many firsts would be tossed their way.

Josh is back to 6th with 3641 yards.

He should have a good opportunity to get back in the top five this weekend. Denver secondary is pretty banged up.

Russell has the Redskins.  Watson has Indianapolis. Mahomes has NO.  Ryan has Tampa Bay.

Them some decent defenses. In terms of passing yards allowed per game, Redskins and Saints are #3 and #4.
