I’d imagine so.  Everyone on a fixed income is more heavily impacted by inflation.

I sure hope he sends his former agent a nice Christmas card every year.

 

The Mets end up paying him 8% interest on what they owed him, so really, the fact they signed him for a second stint when he was old and broken down was still a lot dumber than the deferred payment scheme.

Very boring, starting with the lame LA crowd.  It felt like there were about four base runners the whole game.

 

And I guess I’m just old and out of it now, but I never heard of half the guys who played.

 

That said — the highlights were the mic segments, especially the Yankee guys who seem very likable.

I watched the early innings. Nice interview with Stanton and he follows up by going yard big time.
