Dolphins have their top two QB’s medically cleared to start and yet they’re going with the 3rd stringer? How does that work?…

It makes sense if you recognize that Tua ain’t a franchise QB, and Thompson took all the QB1 practice reps this week because of when Tua was cleared. If the Bills were in the same situation with their QB’s Josh would be playing if he didn’t get cleared til Sunday AM, regardless of who took the practice reps.

I think, in part, the Fish screwed up so badly bringing him back in the Bills game that they almost have to keep him out another week go keep the talking heads off their back.

Think about just the past year: Flores' class action racism suit; being accused of paying to tank, illegally trying to poach Brady and Peyton, losing draft picks, forcing Tua back back after a clear concussion, having him get clobbered in the next game...

The stink on the organization as a whole is deep and ugly. They need to lay low for a while, so to speak.

It's going to be even better when they lose tomorrow to fall to .500

Dysfunction is brewing in Beantown.

Listed as questionable, it’s “highly unlikely” Patriots quarterback Mac Jones plays today

Quote

... There’s chatter that Jones isn’t thrilled with the situation there, starting with Belichick’s failure/refusal to replace skilled and experienced offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels with another skilled and experience designer and caller of plays. Instead, Joe Judge (a former special-teams coach before becoming head coach of the Giants) is in charge of the quarterbacks, and Matt Patricia (a defensive coordinator before becoming head coach of the Lions) is in charge of the offense. There’s a belief that Jones isn’t thrilled with that arrangement.

There’s also talk that Judge has become an advocate for Zappe. That would help explain Belichick’s reluctance to proclaim that Jones will still be the starter when he’s healthy. ...

The real cause of the loss was the removal of the ping pong table, and then lying about it

Mike McDaniel’s ‘demand’ to Dolphins after losing 3rd straight game amid QB woes (msn.com)

“I’m going to demand that the team does not point at that to be a reason for what’s happened or a reason for the loss,” McDaniel said, via ESPN. “I think that’s the easy thing to do. I think that’s the path of least resistance, and generally the path of least resistance doesn’t lend the results that an ambitious, convicted, all-in players’ team, organization wants. Yeah, there’s always difficulties and adversity within NFL football games. I thought we had the capability to overcome that, and we didn’t.”

And the disfunction around Pajama Boy in Miami continues

May be an image of 3 people, people playing football and text that says 'On Wednesday, Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel praised team captains for removing the ping pong table in the locker room to reduce distractions On Thursday, Tyreek Hill said the table was only removed was because it was bent & they already ordered a new one for the team's tournament Dolphins 120° HILL 10'

Well, there is no disconnect there.
