It did.

There's also a saying among cardiologists: the first symptom of a heart attack in young males is death.  Healthy people of all ages, in fact, have been dying of heart attacks for a long time.

And the overwhelming majority of them would be diet related.

Healthy people don't die of heart attacks, that is an oxymoron...

Also a precursor to neurotransmitters like serotonin.

I've always wondered if there's a connection (or even correlation) between cholesterol and affective disorders.  Personally...I see no correlation between my cholesterol and my depression.  But I've never seen a study on it, either.

I would concur with your pondering...I would look into the thyroids role in depression and cholesterol. Also the adrenal glands secondarily. Don't say Jabba sent you...:spy:

The thyroid role is known and well documented - my thyroid levels are normal, btw.

I'm just surprised cholesterol hasn't been researched.

Was that a typo or a Fetterman impersonation?

Cuz if I were channeling Fetterman, I would have replace cardiac with Cadillac

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infarction

If I were Fetterman, I would have called it a Cadillac infection.

If I were Biden, I would have called it a cuciblefloncti...you know, the thing.

No, I don't know his diet. I was simply making a statement that the majority of heart issues are diet/chemical related. I would add genetics as another main factor but those are usually weakened by the same sources so I repeat myself.

Saying a healthy person dropped dead of a heart attack is an oxymoron, I hear people constantly saying "so and so was perfectly healthy, how did this cancer or ailment come out of nowhere?" The answer is besides trauma like Damar it 99.9% of the time didn't come out of nowhere but was bitchslapping them repeatedly across the face...

Briefly read about him...he was a bodybuilder with a congenital heart defect. Those two don't mix. Especially if he decided to ever use some sort of steroids for any length of time.

My obligatory...

Statins are the devil.

(and I mean it)

My Dr: you have to stay on the statin because your Cholesterol is rising

Me: but my legs hurt every morning and I cant pee a steady stream.

My Dr: thats fine, you need to lower your Cholesterol

Me: Stopped taking my statins 1 week before my blood work and can walk without pain and pee without pausing again like I am supposed to.

My Dr talking about my blood work last week: Your numbers have only gone down a little bit but Im concerned about your Liver numbers They are real high.

Me, ITS BECAUSE OF THE STUPID STATINS YOU GAVE ME!!!!

Im done with them. Trying red yeast rice to see if the original "statin" is tolerable. We shall see. Been 2 weeks and so far so good.

Psyllium husk 3 times a day is good for cholesterol management.

So's oatmeal.  Any soluble fiber.  That's all psyllium husk is.

Some people truly need statins.  Most people on them are being prescribed them because of a diet to low in soluble fiber.

The advantage is that you could take after every meal as a drink.

The disadvantage is that you're still compensating for a shit diet.

Eat right, you'll spend less on food, and spend far less on shills for "natural" treatments for artificial conditions.
