They actually don't.  You just hear far, far less from the ones that don't toe the line, because they either know better than to speak out (e.g. Kelsey Grammer), or don't get work because they do (e.g. James Woods.)

The past 10 days or so I’ve been sequestered with a handful of writers and producers working on what they call “a mini room”. They put us up out of LA to limit distractions...

As soon as people leave LA, the filter comes off. Some of these people are new to me, but a handful I’ve known for years and would fit right in at atop. Yet surprisingly they seem the most pissed at Biden and the media. These are people who I had never heard question the media before, now they sound like they pumped Q into their arms😂

It might be an outlier - but it does seem like more and more below the line talent in the industry are loosening their lips. They just can’t deny the reality anymore. Not when their team controls the Congress and executive and media and Fortune 500.

There are some clunkers on here but come on. Multiple Academy Award winners and noms on this list, some of the best filmmaking of the past three decades on this list - but it's "aggressively bland"?

Did the creator of that even watch the movies?  That's the most inaccurate description of The Terminator that I've ever seen.

How do you put Falling Down and Office Space in the same group?

Characters beat something with a baseball bat.

But how do you not put Falling Down in "Downtrodden White Guys Snapping?"

Sweet, I finally know how I can group Galling Down together with A League of Their Own.

I know, a bit of a stretch on “beating things with a baseball bat”.

And The Natural, and Casino.

I also liked the inclusion of Kingdom of Heaven in "Movies about White History."  It's about the Crusader kingdom of Jerusalem.  How much more &#%$ing white can history get?  Do they think the Crusaders were Vietnamese or something?  :classic_wacko:

Seriously, though...that Terminator thing is bugging the shit out of me.

"...a muscled white guy killing droves of enemies and always being correct about everything.  The movie ends with the white guy claiming a woman as his property and living happily ever after."

Is there another Terminator I haven't seen?  Some Turkish remake, or Terminator: The Musical?  Because I remember Terminator very, very differently.

Yeah, it's as if the creator of that list/meme didn't watch a single film on there. It's really silly.

You know what really amazes me?

How Woke Hollywood isn't at all offended by the "Magic Negro" trope.

Did they do one for the aggressively bland black dudes? I'm suspect the list is like:

  • Barbershop
  • Barbershop 2
  • Barbershop 3
  • Blade
  • I'm Gonna Git You, Sucka
  • White Chicks
  • Fresh Prince of Bel Air
  • Nash Pluto
  • Don't Be A Menace To South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood

Ignoring for a second the line aboutthe man taking ownership of the woman at the end… come on, that entire franchise is all about happy endings

She was the first concert I ever attended. Saratoga Performing Arts Center. Billy Squire opened for her, and in one simple evening I learned two interesting lessons.

1. The concert headliner isn't necessarily going to be the best performer on stage that night. Billy Squire was awesome and she was just okay.

2. I desperately hate large crowds.

Every concert I have ever gone to ended with me following a new band. They were almost always better.
